see relatedThis has been a long but really good week. I feel like my performances went really well and gotten really good response to them. It's weird, when everything in your life seems to be going right. I don't want to jinx this but I am soooo happy right now and it has been a very long time since I have felt this way. I look out my window and see the Cleveland skyline and Lake Erie and think to myself I am finally in the right place for me. Well enough about that.
I am really excited about marching band next year. The show is going to be Cannon in D. It will be a lot easier on the kids but I feel we will be able to do lot more things with the show since they won't be struggling trying to play college level music like last year. I hope that Mr. Weaver gets me the parts before summer rehearsal so I can do a little score study in advance.
Lastly I would like to say congrats to my older Sister, Dr.Tashica Treshaun Williams-Amirgohlizadeh (try saying that 3 times fast :p) I am flying out to California on May 10th to see graduate her from Law School at Cal-Berkeley. This girl has 3 bachelors, 2 masters, a PhD, and now a law degree. Did I mention that she will be only 30 in October. She is amazing and I love her. Well that is all for now

see related"There is no place like home" And I must say there is nothing more true in life then that. The one place that will accept you all the time regardless. Through the good and the bad. They may not like everything you do but they will love you regardless. I can't wait to go home. I love my family and I miss them sooo much. When I am at home I don't have to think, worry or stress. I am going to take these 7 days and just relax. When I get back I can hit the ground running. I am going to need to practice a lot over the next couple of weeks. Gigs and auditions are coming real fast for next month. And heck, I am still getting used to my new PT-6. Well if I don't talk to you until after the break. Happy Holidays :)

So hey, There was a time where I would get up every morning, have my apple jacks, check my email, and update my xanga, I went away from this for a while. Well lets see, I am living in Cleveland and loving it. I am teaching a lot now, more then I thought I would, I am on the brass staff for Firestone High School in Akron and now I have a full studio, I am actually turning people down cause of my schedule. I am also playing in 2 groups, the Donna Brass Quintet, and the CIM tuba quartet. Both groups are full of awesome players and it really keeps me on my toes. Megan (even though we never ever get to see each other) are doing fine also. Things are really fast pace right now, I never took myself as a city person but I don't think I could ever live in a small town again. I am going to go back to get my teachers cert., a performance degree gets you only so far. But not sure when, I am having too much fun now. Well hope to update more laters
